Our journey to Ruby Falls was not simply a field trip—it was a passage through a magical threshold. The hidden heart of the mountain and, in many ways, into the hidden chambers within our own hearts. June is all about the sacred heart!

Together, we descended 260 feet into the body of the Earth, into the hidden heart of what is now called Lookout Mountain, once known as Chatanuga (often spelled Tsatanugi by the Creek) and became the cities current namesake: Chattanooga.

Ruby Falls revealed itself as now flowing from the heart space, 260 becomes a heart-code:

2 — We journey together.

6 — We open the heart.

0 — We pass through the portal of mystery.

We entered stone, shadow, silence, and wonder. We walked into the mountain as mystery seekers, allowing the familiar world above us to fall away as the deeper world opened beneath our feet.

The story of Ruby Falls itself is a teaching in deep inner trust and the power of listening to your intuition. It was found because one man trusted a strong inner knowing that something was there. He followed that call through darkness, tight crawl spaces, uncertainty, and more than 16 hours of searching—yet something within him would not let him turn back. And there, hidden in the heart of the mountain, he found the falls nearly 100 years ago in 1928. For us on this voyage, this became more than history. It became portal medicine.

Ruby Falls reminded us that some of the most sacred beauty is not found on the surface. Sometimes we must descend. Sometimes we must move through the narrow places. Sometimes we must trust the unseen pull of Spirit even when we cannot yet see what is calling us forward.

On this 6/6 portal, with the heart chakra WIDE open and the root chakra anchoring us deep into the Earth, we passed through a powerfully magical threshold together. The mountain held us. The water spoke to us. The cave became a womb, a temple, and a mirror.

And in meditation, Ruby Falls revealed that the waterfall now lives within our own heart space. We were shown that this sacred cascade is no longer only something outside of us, but something we now carry within us—the waters of wonder, grace, intuition, and hidden beauty flowing from the heart.

We returned from the mountain forever changed. Ruby Falls taught us that there is living water inside the stone, beauty and life inside the dark, and a sacred waterfall within each of us that never stops flowing.

These are the kind of spiritual spaces & experiences I love holding for others. I am a threshold walker, one foot in the ordinary and the other in the extraordinary. This experience was pure magic and I am all IN!
